Hanley & Hanley is a family-owned law firm that handles legal matters within a variety of practice areas, both for individuals and businesses. Started by Dan and Patrick Hanley in 1976, the firm carries on the reputation of their late father, a lawyer with an extensive legal career who began practicing in 1931.
Completing his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University, Dan Hanley went on to earn his J.D. degree with honors at George Washington University. Dan then went back to Georgetown to obtain his Master of Laws (LL.M degree). His brother and colleague, Pat Hanley, completed his undergraduate studies at Wheeling College, and received his J.D. degree at University of Maryland. Like his brother, he went on to obtain his Master of Laws at Georgetown.
